With the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in the country, the government scrambles to meet its resources to provide more protection to medical workers while making sure there will be food for everyone during the quarantine period.
Last May 6, 2020, Italpinas Development Corporation through its Miramonti Sales Office recently donated Washable PPE, face shields, and surgical gloves to QualiMed Hospital Sta. Rosa, Laguna.
“This is about people helping the community. We all have a responsibility to play in the fight against COVID-19. We will take things in positive action, and help where we can. We join the rest of the country in the ongoing fight against COVID-19,” said Ms. Febeline Manalo- Miramonti Sales Office Operations and Finance Manager.
The pandemic may be showing the vulnerability of each country’s ability to handle the present crisis we are up against in our society, but it is also evident, especially in our country, what the spirit of “bayanihan” means for a nation of everyday heroes. Drawing out the best in every one is what will get us through this.
