Italpinas CEO Speaks at Italian Chamber Conference

Listed Italian-Filipino developer Italpinas Development Corporation (IDC) Chairman and CEO Architect Romolo Valentino Nati was chosen as among the speakers during the recently conducted business forum by the Italian Chamber of Commerce, last March 2, 2017, held in Makati, Philippines.

Under the theme, “Philippine Economy: Is Change Coming?”, the said forum solely talked about the pressing issues within the government and its agencies with regards to the actions from the foreign trade agreement currently being negotiated between the Philippines and the EU.

Joining the business forum were, EU Ambassador Franz Jessen, Commissioner Johannes Bernabe from the Philippine Competition Commission (PhCC), Bloomberg host and trade lawyer Atty. Anthony Abad, Lorens Ziller, Vice President and Executive Director of the Italian Chamber of Commerce, and Mr. Angelo “Butch” Benedictos, DTI Assistant Director.

Architect Romolo Nati talked about his exciting experience in the Philippines that brought him from founding a development company in 2009 to be listed in the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) in the year 2015. He also gave emphasis on the challenges and opportunity that the Philippines can offer to Italian investors.

The event was made successful with the partnership of EU- Philippines Business Network, Archipelago partnered Philippines-Netherlands Business Council and Italian Chamber of Commerce.

Participating in this business forum, Italpinas is a dynamic company focused in sustainable property developments in emerging cities across the Philippines. It has garnered international and national accolades for its commitment to green-designed buildings.

At present, IDC has already two green projects, Primavera Residences and Primavera City, in the flourishing Uptown Cagayan de Oro. To expand its sustainable advocacies, the company is now preparing for their first project in Luzon, Miramonti to be set in Santo Tomas, Batangas.
